Titchfield Evangelical Church

Mornings we meet at 10:30 until typically 11:30-11:45. Itís a time for good singing as part of our worship, prayer, Bible reading and listening to the message being preached. Often the message is relevant both to Christians and others seeking to understand more what the Bible is all about.

We encourage Church Members to participate in the service, if they are happy to do so, perhaps by publicly reading some Bible verses, prayer or sharing recent experiences of living out their lives as Christians. We normally use the New International Version of the Bible for our public readings.

Musically, we typically use a modern keyboard with a mix of piano, organ and strings sounds; someone plays a violin and another alternates between a trumpet and harmonica. We are keen to develop the use of various instruments and our skills, and continue to enjoy a wide range of contemporary and traditional hymns and songs.

On the first Sunday of each month we also have Communion where all those who love the Lord are welcome to participate and others are most welcome to observe what takes place.

After church, do join us for tea/coffee and a biscuit in the church lounge.  This is a great time to chat and build friendships.

Sunday evenings:  We're not currently meeting regularly* on Sunday evenings but are seeking to concentrate efforts in evangelism and running Christianity Explored courses.  Please do contact us if we can help you in any way about the Christian faith or anyone you feel we can be of help to you.  *We do meet for Communion on the third Sunday of each month.
